JAMMU, Feb 20: A Selection grade Constable (SgCT) of Jammu and Kashmir Police died after the motorcycle he was riding on was hit by an electric bus here today.
The accident happened at Gadigarh area, when a bike driven by one Manpreet Singh (30-32) of Govindpura Basti, Simbal Morh, was hit by an electric bus, resulting in his death on the spot, a police official said.
He said the bus driver has been arrested, his vehicle seized, and a case under the relevant sections of the law has been registered at Police Station Satwari with further investigation taken up.
