KATHUA, Nov 26: A policeman was killed when his private car skidded off the road and plunged into a deep gorge near Kardoh on Bani -Basohli road this afternoon, police said.
Police said Selection Grade Constable, Liaqat Ali of 2009 batch was on way to his home in Bani area from Jammu when he lost control of his car, resulting in the vehicle plunging into a gorge near Kardoh village this afternoon.
The body was recovered by the police rescue team and shifted to Sub-District Hospital Bani for post mortem. The police has registered a case in this regard under relevant sections of the law.
