JAMMU, Mar 22: A cop of Jammu and Kashmir Police was injured in accident which took place during Congress party protest near Jewel here today.
As per police sources, SgCt Naresh Singh (IRP 14th Battalion), son of late Prithipal Singh of Jindrah was injured after coming in between two buses near Jewel when Congress party workers were protesting.
He was immediately rushed to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) Jammu, where he was responding to the treatment, when last reports came in.
Nowabad Police has taken cognizance in this regard.
