JAMMU, Apr 10: A cop got snake bite while performing duty in Thathi area, falling under the jurisdiction of Gharota Police Station.
As per police sources, a constable Naresh Kerni was injured due to snake bite while performing duty in Thathi area.
On getting information, police team led by SHO Gharota Inspector Rajesh Sharma along with PSI Rohit Kumar rushed to the spot and shifted the injured cop to Sub District Hospital (SDH) Akhnoor, where he was responding to the treatment, when last reports came in.
SDPO Akhnoor also rushed to SDH Akhnoor and enquired about the condition of the cop.
