JAMMU, Oct 7: A cop was assaulted by tractor driver and his associates near Muthi area, falling under the jurisdiction of Domana Police Station.
As per police sources, a SgCt namely Murad Ali while on naka duty near Muthi intercepted a tractor.
The tractor driver and his associates assaulted the cop and escaped from the spot along with the vehicle.
In the incident, the cop received minor injuries.
A case under FIR Number 358/19 under Section 353, 332, 323 and 34 RPC was registered at Domana Police Station and hunt has been launched to arrest the tractor driver and his associates.
