Coordination Committee meet held at District Court Samba

SAMBA, May 31: In compliance with an order issued by the High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh, a Coordination Committee meeting was held today at the District Court in Samba.
The meeting, presided over by Adnan Sayeed, Chairman of the Coordination Committee and Principal District & Sessions Judge Samba, focussed on enhancing the efficiency and timeliness of the justice delivery in the District.
The primary objective of the meeting was to address infrastructural and security issues faced by the Judicial Institution in Samba and to discuss strategies for their improvement.
During the session, previously unresolved issues were addressed, and a new agenda was set to be tackled in the upcoming coordination meetings.
Key attendees included Secretary of the Coordination Committee Preet Simran K. Grover (CJM Samba), Senior Superintendent of Police Vinay Sharma, ADC Samba (representing the Deputy Commissioner), Public Prosecutor Kuldeep Bhat (Incharge Prosecution Wing), and other essential stakeholders such as the Executive Engineer of PWD Samba, JE of PDD Samba, Deputy CMO Samba, CEO of the Municipal Committee Samba, Chairperson of the Child Welfare Committee, and a Forest Officer.
Superintendent of Central Jail Kot Bhalwal and Superintendent of District Jail Kathua participated virtually, ensuring comprehensive representation and input from all pertinent departments.
