DODA, Dec 12: Contractors Association held a meeting today at Block Chilly and discussed various issues being faced by the contractors.
The meeting was held under the chairmanship of Sheikh Manier Ahmed Sarpanch Chilly and burning issues including proper monitoring of works, low rate tendering and many other issues being faced by contractors were discussed.
In the meeting, a general body of the contractors were framed for further strategies.
Firdous Ahmed has been nominated as President of Contractors Association Chilly, while Rafi Choudhary as Chairman Contractors Association Block Chilly, Haji Shah Din Naik as High Patron, Jaswant Singh Manhas as Vice President, Abdul Gani Batholi as General Secretary, Ghulam Rasool as Advisor, Khadim Hussain as Convener, Khair Din as Secretary, Naib Chand as Convener and Mehfooz Ahmed as Secretary.
Newly elected present Firdous Ahmed assured all the contractor that association will work day and night for welfare and development of area and will try to redress the problems in the shortest possible time.
