JAMMU, Feb 18: Geology and Mining Department along with Domana police seized illegally dumped construction material at three different locations.
As per police sources, a team from Police Station Domana Inspector Mahesh Sharma and DMO Jammu Ankur Sharma seized illegal dumps of construction material at Udheywala, near GD Goenka Public School and Sarore.
A large number of minerals including sand extracted from river Tawi bed illegally were dumped by S Kumar at Udheywala, Vishal Sharma near GD Goenka Public School and Sham Sunder at Sarore in violation of High Court directions.
All the exercise was done under the supervision of SDPO Domana Kosheen Koul and SP Rural Sanjay Sharma.
