JAMMU, May 24: State High Court today directed the State to consider the claims of the petitioners for promotion as JE Grade-II in the Public Health Engineering Department.
These directions were passed in a petition filed by Sangram Dev Singh and others.
After hearing Advocate M I Sherkhan, Justice Tashi Rabstan disposed of the petition with the direction to the respondents to consider the claim of the petitioners in accordance with rules governing the filed having regard to letter dated March 16, 2009 addressed to Principal Secretary PHE. The High Court also directed respondents to pass appropriate orders within a period of two months.
