SAMBA, Mar 7: Senior Congress leaders led by Raman Bhalla today took out a massive protest march in Ramgarh against the rising prices of the petroleum products.
The protesters took out protest march from Bus Stand Ramgarh, which concluded at Tehsil Office Ramgarh.
Amid slogans against BJP Government, the protestors were demanding immediate roll back of hiked prices of petrol, diesel and LPG cylinders. They accused the BJP Government of having failed to address the problems of the people.
Addressing the gathering, Bhalla said that since BJP took over in 2014, the miseries of the people of J&K have increased manifolds.
“Many years have passed but BJP failed to fulfill any of the promises made with the people, be it the problems being faced by the border residents, be it the problems being faced by the farmers or be it the problems of refugees and Kashmiri Pandits. This Government has done nothing to address people problems,” Former Minister said.
Sanjeev Sharma, Babal Gupta, Sarpanchs, Panchs and other Congress leaders were present during the protest.
