JAMMU, Nov 23: Congress workers today took out candle light march to pay homage to three Army jawans who attained martyrdom at Machil Sector in Kashmir valley yesterday in Pak attack. They also paid homage to  victims of Kanpur train accident.
Led by former Minister and JKPCC general secretary ,Manjit Singh, the protesters took out candle light march in Vijaypur in memory of those who attained martyrdom in Machil Sector due to Pak shelling and terrorist attack and victims of train accident at Kanpur in Uttar Pradesh.
Addressing the mourners Manjit Singh condemned Narindra Modi Government for its failure to deal with Pakistan.
“Pakistan has increased cross border firing and continuously civilians are being killed on the borders, while Modi Government is only making statements,” said Manjit Singh.
He said that the ineffective Government at Centre has led to tension on the borders as they have no plan or policy to deal with the situation.
“The Government should decide whether they want to hold talks with Pakistan or they will go to war. Need of the hour is to end hostility on the borders,” he added.
He said that border residents have been facing worst kind of situation. “They are facing uncertainty because of tension,” he added.
