Cong to fight corruption tooth & nail: PCC chief

JAMMU, Dec 22: Former Union Minister and president Pradesh Congress Committee Prof Saif-ud-Din Soz today said that Congress intends to fight corruption tooth and nail and the passage of  Jan Lokpal Bill is the clear indication for the same.
Addressing public rallies at Fatehpur in Anantnag and Frisal in Kulgam today, the PCC chief said that the Congress Party has shown its vigor by getting Lokpal Bill passed in both the Houses of Parliament  and it is signal that Congress Party was going to fight corruption tooth and nail.
He pointed out that Congress workers were enthusiastic to resolve the  issues of the public and make their life comfortable. But unfortunately these could not be resolved due to apathy of the system. He said only the Congress leaders can show the nerve to remain steadfast with the people  and help them to solve their problems. Soz said only Congress can protect the interests of the people of all the three regions of the State.
Prof Soz responded to the issues  and problems that had been explained in the memorandum which was presented to him and he assured the people that the concerned Minister would be directed to visit these areas soon  and sit with the local leaders to resolve their issues.
Bashir Ahmed Magray-MLC, Farooq Andrabi, Anayatullah Rather and Hilal Shah, district secretary general  also accompanied Prof Soz.
