SAMBA, July 9: Congress workers today staged a strong protest against the Central Government over banning 4G Internet Service and enactment of new domicile law at Vijaypur.
The protest was led by Vinod Mishra, the senior leader of the party and member of its State Executive Committee. They raised slogans against the BJP led Government. The protestors demanded immediate restoration of 4G Services.
Vinod Misra addressing protestors said that the Central Government is insisting on creating Digital India. If 4G Service is not available then how will people be able to work online in J&K. He also questioned the new domicile law for JK UT and alleged that people are facing harassment for the same. The delaying tactics are adopted in issuing domicile and Department officials are indulging in irregularities. He said that if the Government does not solve the problems of the people soon, then the Congress will not hesitate to come on the streets.
