JAMMU, Feb 1: Terming Congress a sinking ship, Yoga Guru, Baba Ramdev asked National Conference (NC) patriarch and Union New and Renewable Energy, Minister, Dr Farooq Abdullah to jump from the ship and save his Party from electoral debacle by joining Modi’s bandwagon.
The Yoga Guru who was on a day’s visit to City of Temples told reporters here, today that Congress is a sinking ship and NC should snap its ties with the Party and join Modi’s bandwagon.
Predicting downfall of the Congress in 2014 Parliamentary elections, he said AICC chief Sonia Gandhi and Congress vice president, Rahul Gandhi are certain to lose the coming elections.
Announcing full support to BJP in the coming Lok Sabha elections, Baba Ramdev said that his organization will launch door to door campaign for Modi and his Party from March 23 -the day when Patanjali Yog Peeth and Bharat Swabhiman Trust will be organizing nationwide Yog Utsav (festival). About 10 crore people all over country will take part in the Yog Utsav, he added.
The Yoga Guru said three types of door to door  campaign will be launched by his organization from March 23 which will be for Yog, Vote and Prachar.
Expressing full faith in the leadership of Mr Modi, he said that people of country have even before the elections accepted him as the future Prime Minister and in J&K the Party will win three seats including two from Jammu region and one from Ladakh region.
He said his organization will launch a Dharma Yudh (fight for truth) for change of guard as India needs a Government which can make the nation strong and keep it integrated.
Making a scathing attack on Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Baba Ramdev said Aam Aadmi Party (APP) is giving misleading statements by supporting separatists in Kashmir, demanding withdrawal of Army and also disrespected Republic Day.
“Mr Kejriwal was in our movement and we associated  with him to fight against the corruption but he detracted from the path later”, he said. Taking serious exception of Kejriwal’s allegations against the former BJP chief Nitin Gadkari and terming him as a corrupt politician, he said, the Delhi CM does not see any one honest except himself.
Terming it a false allegation, Yoga Guru said Kejriwal has labeled Mr Gadkari a dishonest man and has defamed the former BJP chief. Even the Delhi CM does not hesitate in attacking Modi for his cheap political goals, he added.
He advised Mr Kejriwal to make statements with seriousness and also refrain from playing cheap politics. He (Kejriwal) has also leveled false allegations about Dr Abdullah also, said Yoga Guru. Instead of making allegations against the corrupt politicians, Mr Kejriwal should furnish proofs against them, he added.
Maintaining that he will not contest elections himself Baba Ramdev said he will definitely play a role in deciding about the next PM. He also favoured that honest people be given mandate in the elections who have more chances of victory.
Accusing the Congress of its involvement in 1984 anti Sikh riots, he said Rahul Gandhi spoke truth on this issue. Mr Gandhi is a gentleman but he is reaping for the sins of his predecessors, he added.
On Article 370 giving special Constitutional status to J&K Yoga Guru said there should be one law for the entire nation.
