BISHNAH, Dec 24: Senior Congress leader, Mohinder Bhardwaj has said that the party under Rahul Gandhi’s leadership is poised for a strong comeback which is reflected from the manner in which people of Gujarat have expressed faith in his leadership.
The outcome of Gujarat, the home State and strong hold of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP chief Amit Shah, election outcome is undoubtedly rejection of the BJP policies based on sheer lies and concoctions.
Addressing a well attended meeting of residents in the town here Bhardwaj said that the CBI special court verdict in 2G case wherein the court gave a clean chit to former Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh and observing that the case was based on public perception built on spreading lies rather than material facts, was a testimony as to how the BJP had engineered a process of building wrong perception against UPA Government and Congress, for their petty electoral gains.
“The BJP and its leaders led by Modi have played with the sentiments of  people not only through selling lies to them but also abjectly failing to deliver on their promises made during 2014 Lok Sabha elections. It was on account of these failed promises even in Gujarat where BJP has been ruling for 22 years that people brought the party to below 100 in a House of 182,” he added.
Bhardwaj, a two-time former president of the Jammu and Kashmir High Court Bar Association, expressed shock on the total neglect of Bishnah Assembly segment particularly Majua and neighbouring villages in the matter of development.
Ashok Dubey, organizing secretary, PCC,  Bishan Dass, Thoru Ram, Chaman Lal, Bodh Raj, Ramesh Chander, Sham Singh, Charan Singh and others also spoke on the occasion.
