JAMMU, June 19: Congress leaders and activists today held a strong protest demonstration and sought high level prove and action against the culprits in the tragic death of two nephews of a COVID victims at the cremation ground Jammu, on Thursday.
The party activists assembled outside PCC headquarters Jammu and started protest, demanding high level probe and stern action against the culprits in the most shameful and tragic  incident leading to the  casualty of two nephews of COVID victims, when they have gone to cremation ground to perform last rites. It is  highly inhumane as well as shameful act on the part of entire administrative machinery and the result of serious negligence and culpability.

Led  by vice-president PCC and former minister Raman Bhalla, chief spokesperson Ravinder Sharma, incharge District president Jammu and former minister Yogesh Sawhney, general secretary PCC Manmohan Singh and president DCC Rural, Th  Hari Singh Chib, Chairman OBC Suresh Dogra, Neeraj Gupta Secretary PCC,  Councillors Gourav Chopra, Th Kamal Singh,  Dr RK Khajuria, Dewan Chand, Purshotam Mehra, Dabid (Babloo), Kewall Jogi, and  others raised slogans seeking high level probe and stern action against culprits besides compensation and jobs to the next of kin. They sought registration of FIR and arrest of all guilty of the crime against humans and sought high level independent judicial  prove who are failed to discharge their duties while handling the situation.
Bhalla said how the police and medical team failed to perform their duties and the entire administration negligence of handling of situation. He said this has sent shock waves and fear amongst society and exposed the hollowness of the system to deal with Coronavirus. He demanded stern action and high level probe in the incident.
Yogesh Sawhney lashed out at the administration for total failure and sheer negligence of the administration in dealing with situation which has sent shock waves and fear amongst the people. He said the magistrate enquiry is not sufficient to do justice in this serious matter and  demanded judicial probe in the matter.
