Udhampur, July 15: A protest demonstration was organized by senior Congress leader Sumeet Magotra against continuously increasing in prices of petrol, diesel and LPG cylinder.
The protest demonstration began from Barrian Dhar Road and reached at Jakhani Chowk, National Highway. Congress activists were raising slogans against Union Government led by BJP.
While addressing the huge gathering Sumeet Magotra expressed that it is very serious matter that the prices of petrol, diesel and LPG cylinder are continuously increasing day by day. With this prices of all essential goods also heavily increasing and common man is unable to provide bread to the family.
Later Congress activists tried to block National Highway but they were stopped by a police party led by SHO Udhampur.
