BILLAWAR, Dec 5: Minister for Co-operative, Printing and Stationery and Education and Congress candidate from Billawar constituency Dr Manohar Lal Sharma said that Congress party is committed to create atmosphere of brotherhood, peace and prosperity in the three regions of the State.
He stated that the ruling Congress in Jammu and Kashmir has a progressive agenda for all three regions of the State and that the party is contesting the Assembly elections on development plank.
“Apart from creating unimaginable infrastructural facilities, all over the State, Congress-led-Government resolved the long pending demands of people by creating new districts in the State. The days of development which took place with respect to growth and development shall be remembered as golden period, especially by the people of Billawar constituency”, he added.
Minister stated this while addressing series of election meetings in Ramkote, Barota, Thanthu, Nabri, Harnota, and adjoining areas of Billawar Constituency.
He said that the party would notch up highest-ever tally of seats in the Assembly polls because it has worked for the people beyond limitations. Manohar Lal said that it is the contribution of the Congress to create an urge and awakening about the concept of development which has compelled other parties to include development in their agenda.
“Youth of the State want fast-paced growth, modern infrastructure and creation of employment opportunities and political parties of the State are selling them catchy slogans, hollow promises and vision documents”, Manohar Lal added.
Minister added that no other political party can claim credit of having executed big projects in such an efficient and speedy manner in Jammu and Kashmir as has been done by Congress.
Manohar Lal urged the people to vote for Congress party in the forthcoming Assembly elections.
