Cong pays tributes to martyred BSF SI

JAMMU, Dec 2: Congress has paid rich tributes to the BSF Sub Inspector martyred in Kerni Sector in Pakistan firing on Tuesday and expressed concern over increased Pak shelling and loss of lives.
Strongly condemning Pakistan for frequent ceasefire violations, JKPCC has paid rich tributes to the martyred officer, who laid down his life while performing his duty. We salute the brave officer, who fell victim to Pak firing defending his motherland. The supreme sacrifice of SI P.Guttey shall always be remembered and party expresses deep sympathies with the family of martyr.
JKPCC chief spokesperson Ravinder Sharma expressed great concern over the continued increase in the incidents of ceasefire violations leading to loss of precious lives. Last month alone nine jawans and six civilians have been martyred in Pak shelling which is a serious matter and Govt of India should take more effective steps to counter the increased attacks by Pakistan.
