Cong, NC duped OBCs; candle march just drama: AIBCU

JAMMU, Nov 16:  All India Backward Classes Union has said that statement given by Congress leaders in a programme at Jammu which appeared in many  newspapers is a treacherous move against the State OBCs.
In a meeting of the  executive members of the Union held here today,  the speakers said that Congress ruled the country for a maximum stint and never did justice to the OBCs in the country till 1992 when former Prime Minister Late  VP Singh implemented the Mandal report in the country.
Congress also ruled the State some time independently and some time as coalition partner with NC but never raised the issue of due share of 27%. It even failed to resolve the minor issues of creamy layer, one OBC certificate together with the renewal of OBC certificate on the basis of income.
The latest regime of Congress- NC had OBC Advisory and Development Board for five long years but its vice chairman could not understand the problems of the State OBCs and it only worked under the directions of the leaders who spoke in the programme and did nothing for the State OBCs except the two meaningless meetings in five years.    Congress and NC are the tested political parties in the State and  OBCs shall never have any faith in them in future, too.
Now, Congress is trying to over shadow its past wrongs and is raising non-issues. After the suicidal death of  ex-serviceman Ram Krishan Grewal at Delhi, Congress in the State has started candle march on OROP. This issue was raised by the former Prime Minister Late VP Singh about 27 years back before which afterward became the agenda of Congress but Congress never fulfilled the demand of OROP.
Executive members appealed the State OBCs to remain vigilant from the tested treacherous political parties which have ruined the State OBCs since 1992 and appealed the State  Government to solve all the issues of OBCs regarding reservation.
All the executive members  including M R  Bangotra  and Prof Kali Dass  shared their views.
