JAMMU, Mar 15: Asking party cadres to gear up for elections (BJP) Bharatiya Janata Party general secretary and incharge Jammu Poonch Parliamentary Constituency Yudhvir Sethi today said Congress is a spent force which stands rejected by people. A party having army of corrupt politics can never give country a good government, he added.
He was addressing party functionaries and local units of Jammu East, Jammu West and Gandhi Nagar Assembly constituencies along with ex-Dy.CM, Kavinder Gupta, ex-MoS & BJP spokesperson Priya, ex-MLAs, Sat Sharma and Rajesh Gupta, prabharis Jugal Dogra, Predumin Singh, Veenu Khanna, district presidents, Baldev Singh Billoria and Ayodhya Gupta.
Yudhvir Sethi said it’s BJP Government’s track record is before public and they know that in past five years only people oriented scheme were launched and no corruption cases were seen anywhere in the country.
Contrarily, Congress not only used to loot public money but also leave people high and dry by dividing them on cast, creed, region and religion basis. It’s this very Congress that never trusted our valiant soldiers and sought proof of strikes on enemy in recent pasts.
Sethi further said that instead of taking action against corrupt leaders Congress preferred siding with them. During previous regime many Congress leaders grabbed land, indulged in corruption, created chaos in administration by nepotism, didn’t hold elections to ULBs and then also misused official machinery to the benefit of their dear ones.
He said that worst was that even the late Prime Minister, Rajiv Gandhi used to say that out of one rupee only ten paisa reach to the beneficiary. This was the level of corruption during Congress regimes, he said, adding that those days are gone and now under the leadership of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi deserving people got their dues right in their bank accounts. He asked party cadres to prepare for polls and ensure that such political outfits are kept away and not given any chance to rule.
