JAMMU, Oct 16: Former Minister, State spokesperson and Prabhari BJP Mahila Morcha, Priya Sethi today said that Congress was not having candidates to field in BDC elections then boycotted them later while welcoming them earlier.
While speaking the different gatherings at block Akhnoor, Bhalwal Brahmana, Khour and Samwan, former Minister said that it is not now a secret to anyone that that Congress is into the game of appeasing and they support anti India activists and Tukde Tukde Gang. She was accompanied by district president, Akhnoor, Manmohan during her tour to these blocks.
She added that the real face of the Congress has come to the fore on losing the Lok Sabha election. “We used to say from the beginning that the Congress has got nothing to do with nationalism”, she added.
Priya added that the Congress is pained whenever the country and its people are happy and proud, whether it’s the issue of scrapping of Article 370 in Jammu & Kashmir or the Indian Air Force receiving the first Rafale fighter jet or abolition of Triple Talaq, Congress always opposed good moves of Narendra Modi Government.
She asked Congress that why they are making hue and cry on just simple restrictions on mobile phones in Valley which too are restored from Monday but why they didn’t make any hue and cry when the soldiers get martyred in Valley or when seven lakh Kashmiri Pandits were forced to leave valley in 1990.
Sethi, said that Kashmir is paying the price of appeasement policy started by Congress Government at Centre and the party never tried to solve the issue for vote bank politics.
She further said that Congress along with NC and PDP does not want development in J&K that is why they always opposed the abrogation of Article 370 .
Former Minister attacked National Conference, (NC) PDP and Congress together for their double standards and said that these Kashmir centric parties are putting their vested self interest over the national interest.
Former Minister added that had Sardar Patel been allowed to interfere in Kashmir, the situation would have been altogether different today & had Nehru not announced ceasefire in 1947, the PoK would have been with India.
The mistakes of previous Governments have created this situation in Valley and Congress and Kashmir Centric parties are directly responsible for this,” she added.
