JAMMU, July 12: JKPCC chief spokesperson Ravinder Sharma has expressed concern over the acute shortage of vaccine for different age groups for the past several days in various parts of Jammu and said that a situation of chaos and confusion is prevailing in the province.
Reacting to the numerous complaints of the general public regarding the acute shortage of the vaccine for all age groups including the first and second dosage, J&K Congress chief spokesperson Ravinder Sharma said that there is total chaos and confusion about the situation.
The people are running from pillar to post to get themselves and their wards vaccinated but there is no system on this front.  No proper and regular  information is being made available to the general public and they are facing great hardships.
Those who have got first dosage are also not getting second dosage while still large number of people are waiting for first dosage. This shows hollowness of the Government claims and failures on the part of the centre and UT administration.
The party urged the Government to immediately make available the required quantity of vaccine in all urban and rural areas and streamline the vaccination process to avoid the undue harrassment to the public.
