SUNDERBANI, Jan 27: Expressing great concern over the causalities and injuries to Army porters, JKPCC Chief Spokesperson Ravinder Sharma (ex-MLC) said that on one hand Pakistan targets the civilians and other hand there was delay of providing them proper assistance.
Citing an example of Army porter Chotu Ram Choudhary, son of Ram, resident of Sermakri, Nowshera who was injured in border firing and suffering from Spine-injury while his son has already lost his foot in border firing and wife is sick, Ravinder Sharma said it was very unfortunate that such a poor man has been left on the mercy of god. There are so many porters who are suffering in the same manner, he added.
Sharma urged upon the Governor administration and the Army authorities that all sort of help and medical assistance should be provided to the Army porters who got injured or killed in the border firing, including Chhotu Ram and others.
