Confused approach of BJP-PDP Govt affects people: Manohar

Excelsior Correspondent
KATHUA, July 14:  Former MoS and  Congress leader from Billawar Dr Manohar Lal has   expressed deep anguish over the recent decisions of  the Social Welfare Minister Bali Bhagat by terminating all helpers and workers working in ICDS without any valid reason.
In a press statement here Dr Sharma said that the poor ICDS helper and workers agitated and protested continuously  for more than three months and afterwards approached to the High Court of J&K for justice .   The High Court issued stay order in this matter. Later on the order was taken back by SWD minister  without any inquiry of any further investigation.
Dr Sharma asked  what was the justified reason and measures adapted by Bali Bhagat  to judge the previous appointments and now  how he comes to the conclusion that the appointments are right without any  inquiry or verification. This is pertinent to mention here that  the workers and helpers are coming from the weaker sections of society and are less paid employs of  the Government.  How they arrange the money to run the  agitation and meet the expenses of Court, moreover, who will stand responsible for all the miseries of these people?
The   confused approach of the   BJP and PDP  Government in all  aspects led to further suffering of people  inspite of addressing the problems of weaker sections. The Government seems to make  further additions to the problems  of weaker sections. This is the similar case as all daily wager/contractual /adhoc and need base workers were terminated first and afterward the termination order was taken back . This also happens in the case of  employment policy drafted by the Government which was amended  by the government after the protest of peoples. Similar, is the case of B.Ed which differs in the two provinces i.e.  in Kashmir there is one year course and in Jammu now it is two year course . This is sheer indiscrimination with the peoples of Jammu for which BJP is responsible.
