JAMMU, July 10: All India Confederation of SC ,ST, OBC Organisations has strongly condemned the attack on a member of SC community in village Panchayat Chilla in Manwal area of Jammu district two days back by some goons.
The Confederation J&K president, R K Kalsotra has expressed serious concern over the failure of police in taking action against the culprits and in a letter to SSP Jammu he sought his immediate intervention in the matter.
Kalsotra said that a poor person Ashok Kumar was brutally attacked by some goons in the village inflicting serious injuries and the concerned police have failed to book the culprits till date. He demanded action against the goons under the law so that the poor people in the area feel secure.
Kalsotra warned that in case the authorities fail to take cognizance of the matter the Confederation will be forced to come to streets.
