Confederation warns agitation

JAMMU, Feb 20: An emergency meeting was called today evening by the All India Confederation of SC/ST/OBC Organisations J&K State unit here today which was convened under the chairmanship of its State president R.K Kalsotra to chalk out strategy to counter J&K Government’s move of implementing catch up rule.
The meeting was also attended by Yash Paul Kundal, JKNPP MLA from
Samba and was participated in large number by the Confederation members from all the reserved categories. The speakers condemned the move of implementing catch up rule by the Government of Jammu and Kashmir and termed it against the down trodden section of the society. They urged the members of these communities to get united to fight this move.
Yash Paul Kundal assured the Confederation to fight for the rights guaranteed under the Constitution with full force on the floor of the House in the ensuing Budget Session.
Kalsotra appealed the Government to nullify this erroneous move with immediate effect and further threatened to ‘Gherao Assembly’ if the demand was not conceded within days.
