JAMMU, Feb 20: The students of GD Goenka Public School, Jammu, governed by Om Prakash Bansal Charitable Trust, participated in the Wako India Cadet and Senior National Kick Boxing Championship 2013-14 (Male and Female) held at Balewadi, Pune in Maharashtra.
The event which was hosted by Maharashtra Kick Boxing Association, witnessed participation of 1060 and 200 officials and coaches drawn from 25 states across the country.
A team of seven players had participated from Goenka out of which Choudhary Zulkar Nain won a silver medal, while bronze medals were won by Abhay Sharma and Abhay Udai Sharma.
School Principal, Jyoti Asija lauded the efforts of the players, the coach Danish Padha and the staff for this achievement.
