Conduct DPC of AEAs immediately: JKATA

JAMMU, Dec 30: Jammu and Kashmir Agriculture Technocrats Association (JKATA) held a meeting at Press Club, here under the chairmanship of Dr. Surinder Radotra along with executive members regarding the prime issues lingering over the years.
It demanded inclusion of 7,8,9 years of Rehbar-i-Zirats service in regular service for Old Pension Scheme as this is the foremost demand of AEAs fighting for the last so many years on the pattern of ReT and, Conduct DPC of AEA’s immediately under SRO 442.
While addressing media, Dr. Surinder Radotra, president, JKATA appealed to Governor, Satya Pal Malik to intervene personally and direct the authority to conduct DPC of AEA’s on urgent basis. Even after three months of issuance of seniority list, DPC is nowhere. “We met Advisor to Governor B.B.Vyas, Khursheed Ganai, Commissioner Secretary, APD, Manzoor Ahmed Lone, Special Secretary, APD Ravinder Nath, Director Agriculture Jammu, H K Razdan and despite their positive assurance but there has been no outcome till date. “We welcome Vijay Kumar and hope something concrete will come out, once again we appeal to Governor to direct the authority to conduct DPC at the earliest”, he added.
Those present in the meeting included Ishrat Wani , Charanjit Singh, Prakash Vir Singh, Karan Dev Singh, Jitender Singh , Nadeem, Datar Singh, Sindujyoti, Amit Gupta, Bhupinder Singh Jamwal, Paean Kumar, Anil Kumar, Vinod Kumar Sharma, Rajesh Kumar Sharma.
