JAMMU, Aug 2: A deputation of Area Welfare Committee, Roop Nagar Housing Colony Jammu led by its president Jagdish Chander met SHO Police Station Janipur and informed him of increasing incidents of thefts in Roop Nagar Housing Colony.
The deputation informed him that in recent past the thieves managed to barge into the residential houses of people in the area and decamp with valuables thus creating fear psychosis among the masses. They demanded that police patrolling be intensified in the area.
The deputation among others included Dev Raj Baru, Ram Singh Salathia, Manohar Lal Sharma, Mukund Lal Sharma, Jawahar Lal Dhar and Madan Lal Khajuria.
