JAMMU, Nov 26: Peeping into the political history of independent India one can find that BJP doesn’t discriminate on communal lines and this is the only party which is true well wisher of the minorities as it instilled complete sense of security among them as party believes in justice to all and appeasement to none.
This was stated by senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister, Kavinder Gupta while addressing an impressive gathering of locals and party workers at Dansal on Thursday.
The former Deputy Chief Minister, has visited Dansal constituency to garner support for party candidate Nasreen Akhtar in the ensuing DDC polls. Accompanied by Zaffer Islam, MP Rajya Sabha and national spokesperson, Bali Bhagat Ex-Minister and Nand Kishore, Kavinder asserted that minorities are enjoying same rights as the majority community and are completely safe under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership. He said that hate planted among minorities against BJP by the Congress and other opposition parties has no basis at all as the ‘facts and figures’ of the party are contrary to what is being spread and projected. “The simple ‘funda’ of BJP is to ensure development without discrimination or exploitation of any sort”, he said adding that schemes which the Government formulates is for all without any discrepancy and prejudice.
“Those claiming that BJP is against minorities are the biggest liars as ours is the only party which is true well-wisher of minorities and it never discriminated on the basis of religion as such”, he said making fervent appeal to people to come forward in large numbers and support the party to ensure all round development.
The senior BJP leader said that it was NC, PDP and Congress parties which befooled minority communities in the last over 70 years to satiate their vested interests as for these self-centered parties the minority community was nothing but a vote bank which they exploited to the hilt.
Among others who were present include Satish Sharma, District President Kisan Morcha, Shamsher Singh, Mandal President; Lala Kishore, Kuldeep, Piara Lal, Pankaj Sharma, District Vice President BJYM, Mandal President Vijay, Rajinder Singh and Yograj.
