JAMMU, Sept 29: Government today accorded sanction to the constitution of a committee for monitoring of land acquisition and rehabilitation work in Dal Lake.
According to the order, Divisional Commissioner Kashmir will chair the committee while Deputy Commissioner Srinagar, Commissioner Srinagar Municipal Corporation, Director Tourism Kashmir, Vice Chairman Srinagar Development Authority, Vice Chairman Lakes & Waterways Development Authority, Chief Engineer PWD Kashmir and Chief Engineer UEED will act as members of the committee.
“Principal Secretary to the Government, Revenue Department shall be the Chief Nodal Officer and Revenue Department shall be the Nodal Department for the rehabilitation work,” the order reads.
