JAMMU, Jan 18: To facilitate construction of transit accommodation for Kashmiri migrant employees at Fatehpora (I&FC Colony Baramulla), Government has constituted an Auction Committee for conducting auction of 13 number of structures.
The committee, headed by the Additional DDC Baramulla, shall ensure that auction is carried out as per the norms and procedure laid down in GFR 2017. It shall fix the Reserve Price for the bid as per laid down norms before auction of the structures and ensure that no bid below the Reserve Price is considered.
The committee shall also ensure utilization of material as may remain outside the purview of auction of structures as far as possible in new construction and to make sure that the amount thereof is deducted from the work done bill of the contractor.
