JAMMU, Sept 14: The State Government has accorded sanction for constitution of an Executive Committee for monitoring framework of Tribal Sub Plan (TSP).
The Executive Committee has been mandated for appraisal of perspective documents and TSP scheme of different department for inclusion in the Annual Tribal Sub-Plan. It shall ensure the formulation of annual TSP in proportion of the ST population, monitor and evaluate TSP, approve proposals before submission to the Ministry of Tribal Affairs (MoTA) Project Appraisal Committee (PAC).
Headed by the Chief Secretary as its Chairman, the 15-member committee shall be comprising Administrative Secretaries of PDD, Higher Education Department, Finance, Health & Medical Education,, Planning Development & Monitoring Department, Forest Department, PW(R&B) Department, PHE, I&FC Department, Tribal Affairs Department, School Education Department, Tourism Depart-ment, director Tribal Affairs, J&K and Secretary J&K State Advisory Board for Development of Gujjars and Bakerwals.
