Come forward in sharing information related to crime: SDPO to people

JAMMU, Dec 10: Sub Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) West Rahul Nagar has asked the people to follow SOPs to contain the spread of COVID pandemic.
He asked this to the people during a meeting at Police Station Janipur. SHO Janipur Inspector Nayat Ali, Councillors, residents, shopkeepers and other respectable persons participated in the meeting.
A threadbare discussion took place about eradication of drugs and other crime related issues. SDPO West Rahul Nagar also briefed them to aware the people of their respective areas to maintain social distancing and wear face masks during travelling and follow COVID SOPs.
Other important issues discussed were regarding illegal mining, theft cases, illicit liquor and various other important issues such as problems related to water, electricity, road, school etc. concerning civil departments.
SDPO West Rahul Nagar flanked by SHO Janipur Inspector Nayat Ali gave a patient hearing to the public and assured them that their grievances would be referred to higher authorities and the issues raised would be taken up.
SDPO West Rahul Nagar also encouraged the people to come forward in sharing information related to crime in their areas.
In the end, SHO Janipur Inspector Nayat Ali presented vote of thanks.
