College girl held on way to PoK

JAMMU, Nov 5: Security forces today apprehended a young girl when she was trying to cross the Line of Control (LoC) to enter Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK) reportedly after falling in love with a youth on Facebook in Mendhar tehsil of Poonch district.
Twenty-two years old Iram Fatima daughter of Vilayat Hussain Shah, a BA Part-I student of a degree college in Jammu, the girl had allegedly fallen in love with Mukhtiar Ahmad son of Mahroof Ahmad of PoK on Facebook.
Security forces noticed the girl on the LoC at forward village of Phagwari in Balakote sector of Poonch district and caught her. She was handed over to police. From her possession, police have recovered Rs 11,500 in cash and a mobile telephone.
Police said the girl had reached forward village in TATA Sumo from Gursai and was walking along the LoC when the security personnel became suspicious of her movement and nabbed her.
Police was likely to handover the girl to her family after questioning.
