Excelsior Correspondent
JAMMU, July 24: Chief Minister, Mufti Mohammad Sayeed has taken serious note of several buildings lying unused in different parts of the State.
Official sources said that during the recently concluded District Development Board meetings chaired by Chief Minister, Mufti Mohammad Sayeed, District Development Commissioners of various districts showed many buildings completed by the executing agencies but there was no mention about their handing over to the concerned departments.
Taking serious note of this, Chief Minister asked the Principal Secretary, Planning and Development Department to ensure that such buildings are put to bonafide use at the earliest. Acting on the directions of the Chief Minister, the Planning and Development Department has advised all the Administrative Secretaries, Heads of the Departments and District Development Commissioners to issue strict instructions to the concerned officers under their control for taking over the completed buildings from the concerned executing agencies immediately.
