RAJOURI, May 7: Chief Medical Officer Rajouri, Dr Manohar Lal Rana, has called the explanation of 14 officials/employees posted at Sub District Hospital, Darhal following a surprise inspection conducted on Wednesday.
As per the official order, during verification of the biometric attendance system, several employees were found to have allegedly marked late attendance on arrival and early departure in violation of the prescribed duty roster of SDH Darhal Malkan.
The officials who have been served explanation calls include Qamir Un Nisa (JSN), Zakir Hussain (MTS), Mohd Aftab (S/W), Ashfaq Ahmed (Lab Tech, NHM), Zahoor Ahmed (Senior Pharmacist), Nasar Ullah Malik (Head Lab Tech), Asid Mehmood (X-Ray Tech NHM), Mohd Khalil (BHW), Zaheer Ahmed (MTS), Mohd Taj Nazmi (Chokidar), Khanwar Mehmood (OT Tech, NHM), Nissar Hussain (S/W), Mohd Ahsan (Junior X-Ray Tech) and Nasreen Akhter (FMPHW).
The order said that the late arrival and early departure of the concerned employees caused inconvenience and delay in providing medical facilities to patients visiting the hospital, besides reflecting a casual and irresponsible approach towards official duties and public service.
All the concerned officials have been directed to submit their written explanations personally within two days from the date of receipt of the notice. The order further warns that failure to respond within the stipulated period may invite disciplinary action under relevant service rules.
The CMO has also ordered deduction of one day’s salary for the month of May 2026 from all the concerned employees as a penalty, which shall be credited to the Red Cross Fund. The same will also be entered into their service records.
