DODA, Mar 21: On the directions of Administrative Secretary Health, DHS Jammu and Deputy Commissioner Doda, to assess the provision of health services being provided to the public, the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Doda, Dr. Om Kumar conducted surprise inspection of various health facilities in the District including AAM-SC Dranga, Drudhu, Berraru, Chakrabati, Sindra and Shiva and reviewed functioning of these health facilities.
During visit, the CMO enquired about the facilities being provided to the patients and checked the attendance register and supply position of medicines and other relevant records of these facilities.
He stressed the staff present on the occasion to provide the best medical facilities to the visiting patients in an efficient and hassle-free manner and also called upon the staff to work with extra zeal and dedication, be friendly with patients and serve them with a missionary spirit.
The CMO also directed the staff to maintain complete hygiene in and around the hospital and provide better medical care facilities to the patients.
He urged upon the health functionaries to ensure better healthcare facilities to the patients and come up to the expectations of the patients and enjoined upon the hospital administration to focus on quality assurance and accessible, affordable health care so that satisfaction level among the users of the Government health facilities is enhanced and the people repose their faith in public health.
The CMO assured all possible support related to better health care services being provided at the hospital.
