CME on ‘Cardiac Emergencies in Neonatal & Infants’ held

JAMMU, Feb 14: Eminent medical experts of specialized Paediatric Cardiology streams from the prestigious Gurgaon-based Medanta Heart Institute took part in a Continuing Medical Education (CME) programme on Cardiac Emergencies in Neonatal and Infants, here and shared their rich experiences, expertise and proficiency with the doctors of Jammu.
The CME programme was organized on the eve of Congenital Heart Defects Awareness Week in collaboration with Indian Academy of Paediatrics Jammu Branch.
The expert from Medanta Dr Amit Misri, Senior Consultant Paediatric Cardiology and Intervention was welcomed by the members of IAP Branch Jammu.
The proceedings of technical session of CME were chaired by Prof Dr GS Saini, Department of Pediatrics, GMC Jammu as chairperson, while Former Prof and HOD Pediatrics Dr DB Sharma attended the occasion as chief guest. Dr AS Sasan and Prof and HOD ASCOMS Dr Ravinder Gupta were the guests of honour.
Dr Amit Misri delivered lecture on Topic “Cardiac Emergencies in Neonatals and Infants”.  Dr Amit Misri while speaking on the subject with special reference of the J&K emphasized on the latest technology in Pediatric Emergencies Management.
Senior Manager Marketing Sudhanshu Sharma said that on 14th of every month Dr Amit Misri will be available for his monthly OPD in Jammu Medic-insult Centre.
The proceedings of the programme were conducted by Dr Rajesh Sharma, while vote of thanks was presented by Manmohan Singh, Chairman, Care India Foundation Trust.
