CM lays foundation of Employees’ Housing Colony

SRINAGAR, June 11:  Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah today laid foundation of Government Employees’ Housing Colony being developed over an area of 100 kanals of land at Pampore.
The project envisages construction of three blocks of flats numbering 400. The estimated cost of the Colony is Rs. 90.65 crore and it is likely to be completed during 2013-14. There is also provision for constructing additional three blocks in the Colony.
Chief Secretary, Mohammad Iqbal Khanday, Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister, B. B. Vyas, Director Estates, M. H. Malik, various other officers and representatives of Government employees were present on the occasion.
