JAMMU, Nov 30: Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti today laid wreath on the mortal remains of seven Army personnel killed in a militant attack yesterday at Nagrota.
The Chief Minister expressed solidarity with the families of the slain jawans and officers and prayed for peace to the departed souls.
Mehbooba Mufti said the cycle of violence has brought immense miseries to the people of the State who want an end to it.
The COAS General Dalbir Singh also laid wreath on the mortal remains of the bravehearts and paid rich tributes to the gallant officers and men of the White Knight Corps.
The mortal remains of the martyrs will be taken to their respective hometowns where their last rites will be performed by the family members.
