In a meeting of the Association held here today, its senior members including Bashir Malik, Anil Mehta, Ravi Singh, Sukhbir Singh Sudan, Ravinder Singh, R P Sharma, Ravi Razdan and C L Koul criticized the State Government for causing delay in addressing the main demand of the clerical cadre. They said even after commitment by the Cabinet Sub Committee and also doing exercise over the issue, the matter has remained unresolved. The committee has also given its commendations which are not lying in the office of Finance Minister and gathering dust.
These leaders urged the Finance Minister to issue orders in this regard. They also demanded grant of 10 % dearness allowance  and regularization of adhoc, contractual, casual and other daily rated workers after framing a definite policy for them. They further demanded that Government should withdraw ESMA imposed on the employees  and shun the path of confrontation.
