SRINAGAR, Sept 11: Clerical cadre employees of all the Government Departments have decided to observe strike on September 15.
The representatives of Jammu, Kashmir & Ladakh All Departments Clerical Staff Association led by its president Ravi Singh Bhau and assisted by trade unionists Yash Paul, Sukhbir Singh, Ravi Kumar, B B Kotwal, Hamid Hussain and others visited various offices and mobilized the clerical staff for making strike and protest programme of September 15 a great success. They said that clerical cadre has been demanding removal of pay anomalies but the Government has failed to honour its commitment. The clerical workers are being forced to adopt the agitational path.
Mr Bhau appealed the clerical staff to observe complete strike and assemble at Divisional Commissioner’s office at Panama Chowk on September 15 to stage protest demonstration.
