Cleanliness drive launched at Railway Stations under Swacchata Pakhwada campaign

JAMMU, Sept 20: On the 5th day of the ongoing Swacchata Pakhwada campaign launched by Northern Railway, an intensive cleaning drive was organised at all railway stations.
At New Delhi Railway station an evacuation and cleanliness drive was launched at Ajmeri gate side entry. Unauthorised hawkers inside railway boundary were impounded. Secluded area were identified and cleared. Two locations were identified where urinal is required to do away with problem of open urination and stinking smell.
Meanwhile, at Anand Vihar Terminal posters regarding ‘Say no to plastic bags” and ‘Use Dustbin’ were displayed at prominent places and special emphasis was laid on cleaning of toilets, drains and the adjoining areas.
