JAMMU, Oct 2: Special Campaign 2.0 for disposal of pending matters and cleanliness drive from October 2 to 31, 2022 has been started today at Jammu Airport by Airports Authority of India (AAI).
The focus of the cleanliness drive is to spread awareness about the importance of cleanliness airport premises.
Various stakeholders of Jammu Airport under the leadership of Airport Director participated in the cleanliness drive.
On first day, area of solar panel installed at first floor of Airport building was cleaned by AAI staff and other stakeholders.
Speaking on the occasion Sanjeev Kumar Garg, Airport Director stressed on the need for neat and clean environment in and around the airport and emphasized that the surroundings of the Airport reflects the face and soul of the city.
He assured all possible help by AAI to ensure that Airport areas are free from garbage.
Accordingly, all stakeholders were motivated to take part in this endeavor for improvement of environment at Jammu Airport.
“On this special day (October 2, 2022) which is birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri we all remembered contributions and preaching of both these great leaders,” Garg maintained.
