Class-12th 22 unfair means cases framed

MENDHAR, Mar 10: A total 22 cases of unfair means were framed against the students appearing in the class 12th  examination in various centers in tehsil Mendhar today.
Officials sources said that team of J&K Board of School Education led by Jt Secretary Dr S H Raffiqi  and another team led by SDM Mendhar Ramesh Kumar conducted surprise checking in Govt Higher Secondary School, Boys Mendhar, Govt Hr Sec School Chhatral, Muqadus Higher Secondary School Mendhar and Govt Higher Secondary  School Bhata Durrian and framed 22 cases of unfair means. Today was Chemistry paper of class-12th students.
They noticed massive copying going on in the Exam Centers and also seized huge material including books. Even in several schools, apart from assigned examination staff, the local school staff members were also found inside the halls encouraging copying. Even many locals were found roaming around the exam centres and no adequate police was deployed there.
The SDM also called the explanation of the Principal of a Govt School whose staff was found inside the exam centre during exam time. Later, the BOSE team and  SDM had detailed meeting and observed that DyCEO and CEO were not much bothered about the mass copying going on in the area. The SDM stressed the need to change entire staff at certain schools.
