Srinagar, Nov 19: After the exams of class 10 and 12 commenced in Kashmir Valley, the J&K State Board of School Education (JKBOSE) today issued a date sheet for the class 11 students of Kashmir Valley.
A JKBOSE official told Excelsior that they have issued date sheet for the class 11 students and the examinations of the students belonging to various streams are set to commence from December 12.
Notably, in the wake of COVID-19 pandemic, the Government has already announced 40 per cent relaxation in the syllabus for the student of Class 10, 11 and 12—under which they will just have to attempt 60 per cent marks which will be then considered equivalent to 100 per cent.
Earlier, the students of class 11 were adamant and were asking the authorities to grant them mass promotion. The students even held several protests—in few turned out to be violent—however, the authorities did not consider their demand, rather, went ahead and issued a date sheet.
