CJM issues NBW against Incharge PP Panjtirthi

JAMMU, Aug 25: Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) Jammu Amarjeet Singh Langeh has issued non-bailable warrants against the PSI Rahul Sharma, Incharge Police Post Panjtirthi as he failed to appear in the court today in a criminal complaint filed by an Advocate.
It may be recalled that earlier also on one date of hearing, accused PSI Rahul Sharma had failed to appear in the court and due to his non-appearance the court of CJM had issued bailable warrants amounting to Rs 10,000 against him through SHO Police Station Pacca Danga, Jammu.
Accused PSI Rahul Sharma was earlier released on bail by the court in this complaint on furnishing surety and personal bonds to the tune of Rs 15,000 as an assurance to the court that he shall appear on each and every date of hearing in the case.
Since, the Advocates have abstained from work as a part of their ongoing strike, none of the Advocates caused their appearance either for the complainant or the accused, however, the complainant was present-in-person before the court whereas the accused chose to remain absent again on this date of hearing.
“The non-bailable warrants against the accused shall be sent for execution to SHO Police Station Pacca Danga,Jammu”, the CJM said.
