SRINAGAR:A civilian was on Wednesday killed by unidentified gunmen in south Kashmir district of Pulwama, official sources said.
They said unidentified gunmen barged into a shop at Tral in Pulwama and fired at the shopkeeper, identified as Mehraj Din Zargar.
”The injured was immediately taken to a hospital, where he was declared brought dead,” they said. They said the gunmen managed to escape during the chaos created due to the firing, adding that a massive manhunt has been launched in the area to nab the attackers.
”After completing all the legal and medical formalities, the body of the deceased was handed over to his relatives for last rites,” they added. (AGENCIES)
